When people think of a headliner magic show, they usually picture the stage lights, the applause, and the final standing ovation. But what actually happens in the hours before the curtain goes up?
Living and performing on cruise ships for over 280 days a year comes with a boatload of travel.
Spending months away from home, friends, and family isn't always easy, but travelling the world as a guest entertainer is my absolute passion.

Magic Show Prep Work on a Cruise Ship
Performing on a moving vessel leaves zero room for error. Hours before the doors open, the preparation begins. First, I do a complete walkthrough of all the illusions and props, making sure the ship’s motion over the past week hasn't loosened any hardware or fittings.
Next, I meet with the production crew to dial in the lighting, sound, and technical cues before placing every illusion in its exact starting position.
Finally, I prep my personal show gear and costumes, meet up with the cast and dancers, and open the doors for showtime!
Spending Months in Iceland
This 11-week stretch at sea kicked off in Bermuda before our transatlantic crossing to Iceland. Along the way, we made port stops in Halifax, Sydney, St. John's, and Greenland.
This is my first season sailing the Iceland itinerary, and I am beyond excited to get out and explore.
