The Occasion:

To commemorate the 20th Anniversary of CPAC (formerly the Chinese Professionals Association of Canada), organizers required a performance that matched the prestige of their guest list—which included Canadian government officials, dignitaries, and notable community leaders. Hosted at the historic Beanfield Centre at Exhibition Place, the event needed to be more than a dinner; it needed to be a landmark celebration.

The Solution:

I provided a full-service entertainment strategy designed to build engagement at every touchpoint. This wasn’t limited to the stage; I performed at the initial press conference to generate buzz and created custom social media content to drive excitement leading up to the gala. The night culminated in a 45-minute Mainstage Illusion Show, where my team and I delivered a high-production spectacle engineered specifically for the grand scale of the Beanfield Centre’s ballroom.

Addressing the Planner’s Needs:

Large-scale anniversary galas often face the challenge of maintaining momentum throughout a long evening of speeches and awards. By integrating magic into the press cycle and providing a "show-stopping" finale, we ensured the organization's milestone felt like a true event. For the planner, this meant a "turn-key" partner who assisted with marketing and excitement long before the curtain went up.
