Jade Pascual and Ryan Joyce Perform the Fastest Illusion in the World

We are nearing the completion of the western leg of the 2010 Tour.  As usual things have been very busy and we’ve enjoyed returning to these cities for our 10th annual year.

The Ontario stretch of the tour is just a few weeks away so we hope to see some familiar faces.

Best,

Ryan

Illusionist Magically Makes Millions Appear for Charities

Illusionist Magically Makes Millions Appear for Charities

International Grand Illusionist Ryan Joyce presents his 10th Annual Nationwide Benefit Tour In Support of Canadian Charities.

Ryan Joyce has a very unusual profession.  His job involves smoke, mirrors and he always has a trick up his sleeve.  Joyce is an internationally acclaimed master of magic and considered to be one of Canada’s Foremost Illusionists.

During his career he has travelled the world, made fire trucks disappear, levitated a two ton SUV and vanished over 100 politicians.  Joyce’s magical career relies on a handful of closely guarded secrets and tools of a very protective trade.

However in the business of deception and misdirection Joyce’s greatest accomplishment is certainly no illusion.  Joyce’s annual tours have contributed millions of dollars for charities.

“Magic teaches us that anything is possible.  It makes us smile, fills us with hope and sparks our imagination.” says Joyce “To have the opportunity to bring a show like ours across Canada and support such amazing charities is beyond magical.”

This summer Ryan Joyce will be hitting the road in support of such charities as The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, The Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada, CPA – Robert Warner Memorial Fund, The Rainbow Society of Alberta and many others.

Joyce’s show is a high energy, Vegas style revue show that combines visually dramatic grand scale illusions and Criss Angel style sleight of hand.  “From every breath taking moment your mind won’t believe what your eyes are seeing.”  Says Joyce.

Tour Update: Sad Sick Little Lights.

by Ryan Joyce on Jul.22, 2010, under News

Ryan Joyce International grand illusionist

We’ll we are gearing up for the 2010 tour and as expected lots of positive; mixed with a little ice and a liquor of choice and some negative.  After the ‘explosion’ that took place 10 minutes before our Kitchener show… the one that destroyed every piece of lighting equipment I own…the lights are still not back from repairs.  This shall be interesting.

Perhaps by the 2011 tour they’ll be ready :)

A few new surprises in this years show;  if I mentioned they wouldn’t be a surprise… but knowing me I’ll be too excited to keep it in for too long.

The tour schedule will be posted shortly… stay tuned.

I hate admitting it….

Victoria's masterpiece

One of the lines in my script is  ”I need someone close to my age… 28….” on and on…

It gets a laugh.  Every time.

Funny thing is its not a joke :) . Not sure if I should be flattered because the  laughter means I look younger…  all of me knows it’s the other way around :)

Oh well… March 27 was birthday number 29, we had some good celebrations at Vic and Andrew’s.  Great night, great friends, amazing cake :)

I think I am going to stop counting up the birthdays… but still partake on the cake eating part.

Best,
Ryan

Pushing A Car…

by Ryan Joyce on Mar.28, 2010, under News

Have you ever helped someone move a stalled car?

The first few seconds seem impossible, but all it takes is a few ounces of momentum.  The car starts to move and things get a whole lot easier.

Things have been very busy, this post is short but powerful.  It’s not about the exertion… its about the momentum.

Amazing Kreskin

YouTube Preview Image

There’s a name we’ve all heard… the 75 year old legend “Amazing Kreskin”

Is he amazing? We’ll I am not going to lie… I went to the show with less the ‘amazing’ expectations, not bad expectations… just not AMAZING expectations.  BUT Kreskin was unbelievable.  What a showman; he was entertaining, funny and charismatic … all without an dime invested into lighting, special effects and a flashy clothes.

For me nothing beats the feeling of being inspired except dessert I’d even go as far to say I am addicted to the feeling of inspiration.

Kreskin is an inspiration.
